march madness

my apologies for being a slacker lately. i am going to blame march madness. and this year, it isn't just for college basketball. after a whirlwind search, fanboy & i are about to embark on the road to home ownership! over the coming months, we'll be packing up our downtown digs then moving across the potomac to alexandria. we are excited. and mildly terrified. but mostly excited. 

and yes, i've already started pinning ideas and swooning over furniture at room & board. wouldn't you do the same?

lazy saturday

the hub and i had a very chill saturday of sleeping in, strolling around old town alexandria, and sharing a few pints at bilbo baggins.
