thanks for killing it, nyc

fanboy & i spent our last two days in new york walking, eating, and drinking our way around town. mostly going to old favorites but also visiting new spots like blue bottle coffee co, analogue, and the big gay ice cream shop. i'm thinking we'll need salads for dinner all week to make up for all the splurging.

this time in new york instead of virginia. and what weekend in NYC is complete without brunch?

back in the new york mood

fanboy & i are back in our old stomping grounds and having a fantastic time wandering around our favorite places (especially because we also got to spend time with some of our favorite people).

though it was a very damp and dreary day, we still had a great time with sampling wine and spirits with our friends at fabbioli and catoctin creek distilling company. julien from PX & TNT was guest bartending and creating fun cocktails with the catoctin creek spirits. we came home with plenty of chambourcin, roundstone rye, and brandy.
