the august break 2013

july is coming to a close and it's almost time for susannah conway's august break! i've taken part in it for the past two years and i love it because there are no rules - just shoot and share photos. even if you don't have a blog, you can still join the fun on flickr.

settling in

just over a month into home ownership and it is starting to feel like we actually live here. it has been a busy month of moving, unpacking, painting furniture, and getting ourselves organized. i am pretty sure my camera has been feeling as neglected as the blog. now that my time doesn't have to be devoted to all things moving-related, i'm looking forward to shooting again. just in time for the august break!

i am so glad that we're done with moving for a very long time!
